To my friends and family,
I am super excited to be a part of this fundraiser again this year! Our community could not have the amazing support from others in recovery without the help of fundraisers like this.
I have seen so many positive connections and comradery come from The Ithaca Community Recovery Organization. Without 12 step support groups, agencies like The Council wouldn't be able to do the work we do.
People receiving services from The Council are able, through The Ithaca Community Recovery organization's many meetings, to be around others who are struggling and not feel alone. I really hope each person will feel encouraged to give this holiday season (every dollar counts). Let’s make sure that Ithaca, and the surrounding areas, have a strong support community for people who are overcoming addictive disorders and also for the families that love them.
