Paulus is Dutch and he's not afraid of a little water (having lived most of his life well below sea level.) Snow doesn't phase him either. He wears a kilt the whole year round -- people are already beginning to recognize him here, by the lion tattoos on his legs and collar bones...
I'm his Ithaca-native wife and I will be there on the sidelines, shivering, with 5 layers of clothing on.
Paulus is not planning to "dodge", no matter what, so come on down and make sure that our local Ithacans don't get too badly upstaged by a crazy foreigner!
Supporting this project is personal, he's gone through several rough periods in his life himself!!!
